I'm not going to say "Just do this" or "just do that" because I know how hard it can be to break a cycle once you've fallen into it. I've been told to "fake it 'til you make it" and as cheesy and dumb as it sounds, it does have its good points. You're changing for yourself, not for other people. And being not good at anything? Bah! You're a great writer and you're always able to say something nice to other people. Nobody's going to be good at everything, and it's normal to be afraid of failure. But it's all we can do to keep going, and if you've one good friend in the world, then you're doing all right
